On behalf of the faculty, staff and administration of Dayspring Christian Academy. I am pleased to welcome you and delighted to present a unique educational opportunity to your family. You could not make a better choice in your search for a school for your child. Dayspring is an open enrollment, academically focused Christian day school for boys and girls in grades Pre-K through 8.  Founded in 1967 as a community kindergarten, by 1981 the demand had grown to form an elementary – middle school with the purpose of educating qualified students from a distinctively Christian world and life view.  DCA students are taught to maintain a high level of intellectual and spiritual integrity-equipping them to actively engage and apply God’s truth in the world around them. As a key private academy in the region DCA has grown to nearly 300 students serving nearly 50 cities and towns in the southeastern Massachusetts, greater Rhode Island area. We represent diverse racial, religious, and economic backgrounds. 

Our Mission

The purpose of DCA is first and foremost that God, in all things, may be glorified through His Son, Jesus Christ, to whom be all praise and dominion forever. Our mission is to equip and educate qualified students of families who uphold Christian values.  We provide a balanced academic program based upon a Biblical foundation and taught by Christian teachers.

• Stanford Achievement Test Data places DCA students 2+ years above grade nationally.

Spiritual Emphasis

Bible is taught daily. Chapel is held weekly on Wednesday mornings. Students are expected to participate in various aspects of the service.  Each year, time is set aside to focus on a particular spiritual theme.  Parents are invited to attend any or all.

Athletics

We offer a balanced gym program and competitive basketball at varying age levels in the fall.
